Register now, Webinar, Friday, May 16 from 11:00 AM to Noon PT.

The Center for Trauma Recovery and Juvenile Justice (CTRJJ) is launching a webinar series focused on resilience for trauma-informed professionals. The first webinar in the series is for juvenile probation officers and will be held this Friday, May 16 from 11:00 AM to Noon PT.

These webinars are targeted toward each of the major professional roles in juvenile justice settings and will provide participants with an introduction to Resilience for Trauma-Informed Professionals (R-TIP), an evidence-informed curriculum that has been developed to increase resilience to secondary traumatic stress (STS) reactions in the context of work that brings professionals into contact with trauma-related material or trauma-exposed individuals.

Beyond individual “self-care,” emphasis is placed on strategies that organizations and systems can use to prevent, monitor, and respond to STS and foster an STS-resilient workplace. Participants will be introduced to one of the specific R-TIP skills to enhance recognition of STS reactions. Register Here.
