The second installment of the 2022 Family Treatment Court Practice Academy Series, “Beyond Collaboration to Results,” is coming up on Tuesday, June 7! This series helps professionals from family treatment courts, child welfare, substance use disorder treatment, dependency courts, and other partners advance their collaborative capacity to improve outcomes for families affected by substance use disorder.

This course provides family treatment court (FTC) teams information about recovery capital and offers strategies to build on these concepts to promote sustained recovery, child safety, and family wellness. This course will highlight FTCs that integrate recovery capital and protective factor approaches into their phase structures, as well as teams that help create a community welcoming and supportive of people seeking recovery.

This course is designed for all team members and provides concrete instruction for using metrics to assist with data-driven decision making, identifying disparities and disproportionality, and sustainability planning.
